The James Hartline Report beseeched its readers and city officials to pressure Escondido Iceoplex and Santee Skate Land to cancel events booked by Naturally California, describing the group activities as perverted and despicable. "These are businesses that are catering to families and children. They should not be profiting off of nudity," Hartline said. "Any adult who has the audacity to claim this is healthy for kids can possibly understand a child doesn have the maturity or wherewithal to process nudity." The 100 member club, whose members include adults and children, has been holding member only nude skating and swimming parties and whale watching trips since it was established in 1999. The group Web site lists regular pizza parties in Rancho Bernardo and Carmel Valley for which members are clothed while meeting prospective new members. "I want to point out that we not alone. We one small nudist club," said founder Brian Spence. "By no means are we unique. This happens all over the country by thousands of people. We been targeted by this one religious activist."Even so, Hartline friend from church, Jeff McGreevy, took the matter to the city councils in Escondido and Santee on Wednesday night and asked for tougher ordinances on nudity. Hartline said an outraged Santee Mayor Randy Voepel had called him in response to the idea of the planned parties. "I not outraged," Voepel said. "But I always very, very nervous about anything that has the potential of vice or negative impact on children." Santee council members reaction ranged from mild guffaws to concern, Voepel said. McGreevy said he "told them I thought it was disgusting, I thought it was illegal." A party planned for April 24 at Santee Skate Land was canceled by the business after a visit from sheriff deputies, Voepel said. "The guy did what I consider was the right thing," Voepel said. "I don feel it my duty to be the moral police. But nude roller skating with kids is not something I would want to encourage at all." Escondido police Lt. David Mankin said he consulted with the District Attorney Office and the City Attorney and determined that no laws were being violated at the Iceoplex, which has two ice skating rinks, an indoor pool and a gym. Mankin said he then visited the Iceoplex to confirm that parties had indeed been held there, but the manager told him the next one, scheduled for March 13, had been canceled. City Councilwoman Marie Waldron said she received several e mails complaining about the nude events. "To me, we just see this ongoing degradation of values in our country. At what point do we say we don want to tolerate it anymore?" Waldron said. "To me, we don want to have that in Escondido, period." Spread of practice Nudists are hardly new to the region, or to the rest of the country. There are legally unsanctioned nude beaches at Blacks in La Jolla and at the southern end of San Onofre State Beach, and the nudist clubs at Swallows Sun Island in El Cajon and De Anza Springs Resort in Jacumba. In Corona, 2,000 people belong to the Glen Eden Sun Club. Naturally California, which describes itself as a "non landed nudist club," has asked for help from its parent organization, the American Association for Nude Recreation in Kissimmee, Fla. The association, founded in 1931, counts nearly 50,000 members across the country and in Canada who belong to 270 clubs. "I really sorry to see this happen," said spokeswoman Carolyn Hawkins. She said the association would continue to follow the situation and to support the local club. Members of Naturally California come from every political and religious background and include grandparents, families and singles, Spence said, and follow a principle that they have a right to enjoy nudity as long as it doesn offend others. The group, he said, would continue with its planned events, which include nude whale watching through Helgren Sportfishing in Oceanside. "That is a private charter," said Helgren manager Don Surowiec. "The only thing I can tell you is, it all perfectly legal. We wouldn let them do anything if it wasn legal." Hartline said he would continue his assault on Naturally California. Hartline was described in San Diego News Notes, an independent conservative newspaper that focuses on Catholic issues, and by various publications and Web sites as an "ex gay, Christian activist who is battling AIDS." He has rallied protests against a gay event at the San Diego Sports Arena and a clerk at a Target store who was wearing what he considered a shirt that was too revealing, among other things. "The Torpedoed Sailor Who Took Over Japan's Camp Girl Compound"? "The Love Nest That Shocked Memphis"? I'm not entirely sure if the correct plural for a group of women is a "nest," and anyway, it looks like they're marching through an African village. "Hatchet Man from Moscow"? I don't see a single ax wielding Russian anywhere and trust me, I looked! I'm always down for a hatchet murdering Soviet. I was so crestfallen when I didn't find one, in fact, that I thought it might be a Where's Waldo? kind of deal I spotted two naked couples, a yeti, and that asshole Odlaw but no Russian. Which means that this illustration must be entirely unrelated to any of the teaser text; it is its own story. Japanese soldiers are parading their captives a gaggle of presumably American soldiers and a single woman in a tiger cage through an African village. Look where their attention is focused: They're all terrified of the girl in the purple dress. Even the Americans. But why? It's just one woman, what could she have done? What possible explanation could there be for the crazy level of fear on display here? Look at that guy! He has seen some shit. His facial expression is how mimes portray PTSD. The answers are as simple as they are self evident: All women are monsters to be feared. Seriously, there's at least one story in every stag magazine heavily implying that women are indomitable devil beasts who are one fallen souffle away from burning down an orphanage. 2. The Tragicomic Antics of Wartime How helpful: This time the headline has a little arrow pointing to the exposed breasts to let you know that, yes, these are the particular breasts we're going to be talking about. They say a picture says a thousand words, but this one only seems to be saying four: "Santa Claus themed gangbang." Incidentally: I defy you to organize four words in a worse way than that. It cannot be done. But I'm not concerned with festive holiday snow orgies. What I really wish there were more context for is that headline in the bottom left. What happened to the publishing industry immediately after World War II? Did we loot all the Engrish from Japan when we pulled our forces out? What could those words possibly mean? I'm picturing some kind of rough and tumble elite military squadron of clowns, and that's the stupi no, wait, that is actually really sound psychological warfare: "The day is ours, Mein Fuhrer! The enemy retreats!" "Nein! Listen! The slapping of big shoes; the honking of bicycle horns. The Combat Zanies they approach!" "I am sorry, my boy. You have not seen this before. But I have. I know what this is: This is the end. One can outrun comedy; one can hide from wacky; one can even bargain with shenanigans. But nobody escapes from the red gloved hand of zaniness." I don't even know where to start. Are they on a Go Go Barge? That was a thing, back in the day? Go go parties delivered by water freight? And are those Go Go Barge pirate . beatniks? Soulful, poetry slamming scalawags who lived to pilfer hot Go Go from the lucrative party barges foolhardy enough to sail their turtleneck clad waters? And their conveyance of choice was . jet sleds? Did we all used to have jet sleds? Is this like a reverse hoverboard situation?! Which of these headlines could possibly apply here? Every other sentence on this cover is something a homeless man would scream at a scantily dressed woman who accidentally stepped on his invisible dog. And then he'd spread his arms wide and chase down the alley after her. No, this clinches it: There is no sense to be made here. No context could be applied that would headlock the headlines on this magazine and drag them screaming into the realm of reason and sanity. They went too far with this issue and gave away the game: I know what the stories in stag mags were now. They weren't the cultural smegma of a society freshly reamed by both the Depression and war; they were just a list of adjectives pulled at random from the backs of bottles of miracle tonics, then slapped willy nilly inside a porno comic under the assumption that everybody would be too busy ogling tits and punches and the occasional tit punch to ever question it. And I, for one, vote that we bring them back. I've always felt that modern pornography was missing something, and now I know what that something is: Great Cats and ridiculous violence. And now that we've found it, I know where I'll be: right directly in my bunk. Buy Robert's stunning, transcendental, orgasmic science fiction novel, , right here. Women Nike Free Run 2 Anthracite Black White Purple,What a terrific run I had this morning. The lake was pristine and clear. The forest that envelopes the lake and the surrounding mountains was a lush, dark green in the morning light. The weather was warm and sunny, the sky was brilliant blue with big puffy white clouds, the mountain air was fresh and clear, and there was just a hint of a breeze. As I walked from the Sasamat Lake car park, down the stairs to the trail by White Pine beach and the water edge, I knew that I had before me, all the ingredients required for the perfect spring run! The dirt and gravel trail that I followed around Sasamat Lake was a delightful running experience. Constantly twisting and turning, gently undulating, just the right amount of steep sections. There were several wooden stairs, a long floating bridge and even a short road run to negotiate. It was the ultimate in variety and not without it's challenges. All in all it's a beautiful trail, and highly recommended. I had been thinking of running at Sasamat Lake for a few days. I remember how beautiful it was when I hiked around it with my wife Marjory and our kids a few years ago. I have also run across the floating bridge a few times before when running from Burnaby to Belcarra and back while training for my last marathon. Actually, it was the Vancouver Marathon that I ran about 7 years ago. As I ran this morning, I thought back to those times when I was running marathons every few years. I was a different runner then than I am now. Sasamat Lake to Belcarra trail I was certainly younger and arguably fitter for sure. But most significantly, it was before my accident and injury that has seemingly changed everything for me, but not entirely for the worse. In some ways, my running and racing has become even more challenging now than it was before. It has, in a way, become more interesting, since the outcome of running and racing is now somewhat unknown. I have certainly run the half marathon distance many times prior to my accident, and as my good friend Jeff likes to put it, my brain and body are already 'wired' for the distance. Jeff's point is well taken. I am indeed very familiar with the distance and, mentally at least, it does seem short and very achievable considering the finish of the half has only been the halfway point during the 9 marathons that I have completed. However, the Vancouver Half Marathon that I plan to run in May is different. There's all of the 'unknowns' associated with distance running again with my injury and my known chronic symptoms. There's also other unknown symptoms that may come up during my training or while running the Vancouver Half Marathon itself. I am not overly concerned about all of this, but it does flash though my mind after my long runs when my ears are ringing a bit louder and my headaches are a little more intense than they usually are at the end of the day. Like they are right now, actually! Sasamat Lake to Belcarra trail As I was running and contemplating this morning, I realized that it's now well over two years since my accident and I am still experiencing chronic symptoms. I have always thought that it's mental stress that now causes my symptoms to increase. However, having pondered that thought on my run, I have concluded that it would be more accurate to say that it's actually fear rather than stress that's causing my increased symptoms. I tried to articulate my reasoning in my mind as I ran and came to the conclusion that there are just two primary emotions that cause us to feel or act a certain way. One is love and the other is fear. After all, when you keep asking the question 'why' you do the things that you do or feel the way that you feel, it's always either love or fear driven. Even when our days are hectic beyond belief, if our actions are driven by love, then the 'stress' that we feel is a positive force and is often euphoric and uplifting. If our actions are driven by fear, then the impact is negative and they will drive us down. If I now apply this logic and reasoning to my own situation, then I need to now follow a life path that's full of love and free of fear in order to be symptom free. This would include all aspects of my life including work, family, friends and activities. It's a fundamental question that I need to ask myself when considering all aspects of my life, current and future. Is this love or fear based?

McDuffey is the local ambassador for the national group Black Girls RUN! A runner for more than three years, McDuffey is a familiar sight at local races. And she would be the first to admit she's not usually at the front of the pack. But for McDuffey, running is about much more than winning a medal. It's about taking steps to get healthy and happy. "I think I've accomplished a lot in running. I'm stronger, I feel healthier in the sense of having more energy, having the desire to eat right," McDuffey says. And finding that sense of energy and being stronger is one of the missions of Black Girls RUN! >> What is Black Girls RUN? Black Girls RUN! is a national group where women of color can come together on a local level and encourage each other to live healthier lifestyles through running, walking, and other fitness activities. Black Girls RUN! originated in 2009 when two friends came together with the vision of seeing the health of black women improve on all levels. This organization provides a chance for women of color who may be thinking about becoming active, and not really knowing where to start, a chance to meet other women of color who are doing it with proven results. >> How did you start running? I actually started out walking to lose weight. I was at a very low point in my life on a personal level. Low self esteem, overweight, unhappy. So I started walking at the gym on the treadmill. My journey into running didn't start until late 2009. I was at a local track walking with a friend I had convinced to start walking with me. One day I made the comment, "I'm going to see if I can run a lap around this track without dying." So I took off, I ran the whole way, and yes, felt like I was going to die. It took me three laps of walking to catch my breath but it felt WONDERFUL, truly WONDERFUL. I loved it. I came back the next day and did it again. Within a short time, about 2 weeks, I was running 4 laps. I was hooked on running but for various reasons life changes, snow, and getting sick I had to stop for a while. But after getting over my illness I hit the treadmill and on Feb 22, 2010, in my mind and heart I became a runner. >> What's your advice for someone who wants to start running? Everyone likes to give these technical answers to how to get started, go get some good shoes, go get the right clothes, go get the right GPS watch. When you are new to something, all of that is overwhelming. I didn't have great shoes, they were terrible. But it was what I had. I didn't have tech shirts, tech shorts, GPS watches. I got out there and just ran. It's simple. Nike says it best, "Just Do It." Don't worry if you have the right stuff or the wrong stuff. Once you decide that running is for you, those things will come. Women Nike Free Run 2 Anthracite Black White Purple A forensic science is a science related to the development and presentation of evidence which meets standards for admission in court. Entomology is the branch of zoological science dedicated to the study of insects, including grasshoppers. The American Board of Forensic Entomologists grants certifications to qualified entomologists who focus on court related areas of insect study, and some colleges like the University of Alabama at Birmingham offer special courses of study in Forensic Entomology. The area of forensic entomology most relevant to murder cases is the study of insects that aid in the decomposition of human bodies. Knowledge of the life cycles of carrion insects helps murder investigators pinpoint the time of death. The number, weight, and life cycle stage of blowfly maggots infesting a corpse, for example, will inform a forensic entomologist how much time has passed since the flies first colonized the corpse, and may provide other information such as whether the corpse had been moved from sun to shade or removed from a body of water. Grasshoppers are not carrion insects, but can provide other important information about the scene. Many insects, including grasshoppers, develop subspecies or variants that are highly localized. Finding live insects or insect remains or portions of insect bodies on any person or object associated with a crime can tie that object or person back to the scene. For example, a grasshopper squashed on the bottom of a suspect's shoe might match the localized variety living at the wooded lot where the victim's body was found, or an investigator might locate a portion of a grasshopper body on the corpse and the other portion of that same grasshopper in a suspect's car. In one notable murder case in 2006, entomologist Lynn Kimsey of the University of California at Davis was approached by police to identify bugs smashed on the radiator of a car which had been rented in Ohio by a person suspected of a murder that occurred in California. Dr. Kimsey sorted through hundreds of insect parts and found the leg of a red shanked grasshopper, which does not live east of central Texas. Kimsey's team then located part of a golden paper wasp, most abundant in California, and then two "true bugs" unique to Utah, Arizona, and Southern California. Forensic entomology testimony established that the rented car had been driven to California and back, a critical part of the case, which resulted in convictions for the murders of several people. The significance of Dr. Kimsey's establishment of key evidence in a murder case based on identification of the hind leg of a grasshopper is not only that it led to a conviction for the deaths of several people, but also that it was predicated on old fashioned solid observational scientific knowledge. Forensic investigation increasingly relies on technology like DNA testing. However, there is usually insufficient DNA for accurate species testing in the array of tiny bug parts found on a car radiator or underside of a suspect's shoe. Only a skilled entomologist can make an accurate identification from a stray bug wing or grasshopper shank. How to Clean Tennis Court Surface Tennis courts can provide players with year round enjoyment and use as long as courts are cleaned on a regular basis. Cleaning a. Insects Used in Forensic Entomology Insects Used in Forensic Entomology. Forensic entomology is the legal application of the study of insects and their arthropod relatives to determine. About DNA Murder Cases In a murder case, the police will look for DNA evidence in two ways. First, they will look for the victim DNA. The Role of Forensic Entomology and Forensic Botany in Criminal Cases Forensic sciences play vital roles in the investigation and solving of crimes. Entomology involves the study of insects and arthropods whereas botany. How to Use STR Repeat to Solve Murder Cases Short tandem repeat, or STR, sequences are non coding areas of a person genetic code in which a group of nucleotides are adjacently. It is generally the task of law enforcement officials to gather the physical evidence to support a murder charge.
