Rotate either axle in to turn the carrier to the point that you can see the carrier center pin through an opening in the carrier. Look at the bottom of the pin and see if there is a small retaining bolt. If not, rotate the carrier 180 degrees. The center pin has two functions: One is to keep the spider gears in alignment and 180 degrees apart; and the other is to keep the axle C clips tucked into their retention housings. Keep this in mind during the next steps; when the center pin is removed, the spider gears are free to move. Do not rotate either axle or the carrier with the pin removed. What will happen is the spider gears will move out of alignment and the pin can't be installed without re aligning the gears, or, the gears and their spacers will fall out. Unless you have considerable mechanical expertise, getting them back in and aligned can be one very frustrating proposition.
