Air Jordan 9 Calvin Bailey Discount Price Concord 2s Fast Delivery And Good Customer Services Are Guaranteed Hi guys, I'm Joey Mattina. Today, I'm going to talk to you about knee injuries and how to prevent knee injuries in soccer. Alright guys, so you probably have a friend or you know somebody that's had a knee injury when they've been playing soccer. One of the most common injuries is that ACL tear, the anterior cruciate ligament. It's just one of those things that you know, many athletes will experience in their playing careers, especially if they play pretty seriously, tearing that ligament. Interestingly enough girls actually have higher rates of ACL tears than boys. This is being heavily researched, doctors think that it's most likely because girls tend to have a more knock kneed leg alignment. Just torquing their ACL just a little bit, just makes them more prone to these injuries. But you know, that's not to worry if you're a girl I mean, keep playing. A good thing you can do is really try to build up your muscles, work on injury prevention. There's some really good exercises for building up your quads. All these muscles around your knee, those muscles work to support your knee joint. So, squats, heavy squats with a bar, you know, even not so heavy are really really good for helping to protect your knees, as long as you're doing those squats correctly. Alright, so if you don't know how to do those correctly, find someone that can show you, get a good practice in before you start doing those. But, really build up these muscles. The more in shape you are, the less likely you are to suffer one of these ACL tears. Alright guys, so I'm going to demonstrate a proper squat, a proper technique for doing a squat. These are really going to be helpful for preventing any knee injuries. You really build up these leg muscles. So a squat should look like this, I'm back, my weight is through my heels and I come up. Now, if I break that down a little bit slower and talk to you a little bit more about it, my knees aren't the first thing that are moving here. A lot of people will just start with their, the movement with their knees bending. If I do that, you'll notice my knees are coming out over my toes. That's going to put an immense amount of pressure on my knee joint, alright? So instead of bending at the knees first, you want your hips to kick back, stick your butt out. It's all about sticking your butt out alright? Keep your abs tight so you protect your back, my butt goes back, now I'm sitting back into the squat alright? My butt, look how far out my butt is sticking. I almost fall backwards. Now with weight, I'm going to be balanced, alright? So, weight is on my back, bend at the hips, I'm down, my head is straightforward and I push back up. Basically my toes should almost come off the ground when I'm doing a proper squat. I want all that weight driven through the back of my legs alright? If you find yourself with your heels coming up off the ground forward, terrible terrible form. Just practice it with no weight at first alright? You can even hold something here, just to get that form down. Once you get that, put a bar and do those, alright? I'm Joey Mattina and that was knee injuries in soccer..

A stubbed toe can have lasting effects that you may not feel until a few years have passed, such as arthritis, a fractured toe, a torn tendon or a sprain. If you break a nail when you stub your toe, it will not only cause excruciating pain, but it can be forced into the skin as if it were a knife point and cause a good deal of bleeding. A nail can actually die, meaning the damaged one will fall off, but a new one will never grow back leaving the toe susceptible to cuts and even serious infections. You should take measures immediately to not only ease the pain, but prevent further injury. In order to prevent further damage to the toe, try to keep it straight and try to walk on more of your heal. Wear extra wide, soft shoes. If you have an old pair that you can cut out the area over the injured toe, all the better. Apply ice, not heat, as soon as possible. Resist the temptation to put on any bandage. You could do more harm than good. Keep you foot elevated as much as possible. And do go and get an x ray. It is better to know nothing is wrong than to have problems a few years down the road. Cheap Authentic Mens Concord 2s,Air Jordan 10 Retro Chicago Bulls Releasing a young salmon into Tranquille River became personal for Brady Pawlachuck he named the tiny fish after his best friend before freeing it into the wild. "Bye, Bhavin, you're free now," said Brady, a Grade 3 student from Bert Edwards elementary school. Bert Edwards is one of 35 Kamloops schools involved in the salmonid enhancement program, which includes students from kindergarten to Grade 12. The program, run in Kamloops for over 25 years, is a project of Fisheries and Oceans Canada's Habitat and Enhancement branch. Students raise salmon eggs in a classroom aquarium, then transport and release the fry into the Tranquille River during May. "The eggs and milt come from the adult stock in November, which is kindly supplied by Dunn Lake Hatchery, than we fertilize the eggs in a fish tank by mixing the eggs and the milt together," said Joanne Nicklas, education coordinator for School District 73. After a two month waiting period, the eggs develop into "eyed eggs" and hatch into alevin before turning into a fry. "It was fun and exciting to see them go through all the changes," said Taylor. "We also had to feed (the fry) three times a day and clean the tanks once in a while," said nine year old Jacob Taylor. The students couldn't wait to release the tiny Coho on Thursday. "I am happy to set the fish free because it will be free and eventually he will go to the ocean and grow big," said Brady. Gord Stewart, executive director of the BIG Little Science Centre, showed students how to release the fry so the fish could adjust to the temperature change. "Salmon are wimps when it comes to stress and we can't just throw them into the river because the river is a lot colder than the aquarium water, it would be like me throwing you into a cold shower," said Stewart. Each student named his or her fish before they released it into the river. "I named my fish Shyla, because she reminded me of a pet fish I used to have," said Karis Wilson. The fry will stay in Tranquille River for up to a year and will turn into a smolt just before heading to the ocean. "As the fish go from fry to smolt, they go through a physiological change to prepare themselves for salt water," said Stewart. "It's kind of like a teenager going through puberty." Not only are the kids introduced to the early life stages of a salmon, they also learn concepts like environmental needs, habitat concerns, watershed, agriculture and pollution as part of the program. Kara Fridriksson has been volunteering to help the instructors for the month, but is also involved because she is doing her master's thesis on ecological restoration. "It is a great program to see the kids giving back to the environment and how that has a positive impact on them," said Fridriksson. "I actually did this program as a kid, here in Kamloops." The program's main focus is on education, said Nicklas. "I think the more knowledge kids have, the better they become at making decisions about the environment." The school district estimates 1,500 fry will be released as part of the program this month. Concord 2s It's not unusual for TV series to hinge on things falling from the sky. ABC's Lost begins with a jet crashing onto an island. In Syfy's Defiance, alien spaceship debris regularly rains down on already decimated American cities. But this summer, CBS is trying something different. Under the Dome is set in a small New England town trapped under an impermeable bubble that seems to have fallen, inexplicably, from the heavens. The 13 episode series premieres Monday at 10 ET/PT. This seaport town near Wilmington, and neighboring Burgaw, are standing in for Chester's Mill, Maine, the hamlet where Stephen King set his nearly 1,100 page 2009 novel that inspired the series. Although Dome is being filmed near the coast amid Carolina pines, "we're playing this show as taking place in Anywhere, America," says executive producer Neal Baer. The one thing Stephen told us is, feel free to use the book as a launching point. My challenge was, what do you leave out?" On the first day of shooting, on a sunny day in late February, actors covered with fake blood stumble into the clinic after the dome slams down on the little town. Thanks to green screen technology, it will look in the finished film like a woman wearing a green glove lost her hand as the edge of the dome fell on her arm as she was gardening. Just outside the clinic, cars and trucks are randomly scattered, as if a toy box filled with Matchbox cars has been upended. Unlike other TV series, such as Revolution and The Walking Dead, Dome is "a parable about our world," says Vaughan. "Obviously, we are living under a dome, and what we do has a very direct impact on the environment. It lets us talk about things like sustainability, but do it in a not preachy fashion. We're sort of smuggling these big ideas inside this Trojan horse." That means the trapped inhabitants will struggle with food shortages, air pollution, political power plays and the inevitable squabbles that pop up when people are forced to live and work in close quarters. The story's triumvirate of good and evil includes used car salesman Big Jim Rennie (Dean Norris, Breaking Bad), military vet Dale "Barbie" Barbara (Mike Vogel, Pan Am) and Julia Shumway (Rachelle Lefevre, Twilight), editor of the town newspaper. Big Jim, played by Dean Norris, is the primary villain. Since 2008 Norris has portrayed Hank Schrader, meth dealer Walter White's DEA agent brother in law on AMC's Breaking Bad. The stark contrast between Hank and Big Jim is "awesome," says Norris. "It's completely the opposite of Hank Schrader. It's really a blast." Norris calls Big Jim "an epic kind of role. I immediately started thinking about guys like Saddam Hussein, these dictators who make the trains run on time but also have in them (this) psychopathic evil. Stephen King whispered in my ear, 'You're Dick Cheney. That's who you are.' " For Big Jim, the dome is a blessing. "He slowly starts to realize how he can take the reins and what that power can give him," Norris says. "This is the chance for him to be the boss. And everybody else who can have a power check on him is outside the dome." He eventually butts heads with Barbara, a former Special Forces soldier who in the novel is designated by the federal government to take charge of the citizenry under the dome. Vogel loves the series' premise. "You can do it a million different ways, but I've always been fascinated with human behavior. It goes back to that great debate: Are we inherently good or inherently evil?" Shumway is a big city journalist who moves to Chester's Mill to lick her wounds. It's through her journalistic eye as editor/reporter for the Chester's Mill newspaper that much of the drama unfolds. "Each (character) is so different in the way they handle events; viewers will surely see themselves in one or another," Lefevre says, but "the amazing thing about shooting the series is that our main character, the dome, never appears until postproduction. "It's similar to what I imagine shooting King Kong would be like," she says. "You react to something that isn't there, and they add it later. We are just as excited to see the show as anyone else because, without the effects, what makes our town so special is missing." It all boils down to escapism, Vaughan says. "There's something very appealing, deep inside of us that if the (stuff) really hit the fan, this is what we were built to do, to survive. We were not built to answer 100 e mails a day and fill out our taxes and deal with the small annoyances of life. We were built to survive." But the story, says executive producer Jack Bender (another Lost veteran), is more about the people than its science fiction roots. "Lost was more about the monster within the characters than the monster in the jungle. It was a very character driven show. "We hit the ground running, right from the time the dome drops, and we don't let up after that."
