Most designer handbags, like Prada handbags, are made from real, genuine leather and each brand or designer sometimes favors one type of leather from another. Get a glimpse of the various kinds of leather used for your favorite designer handbags to know how they add to the beauty of the bag. Buckskin. This type of leather is also called brain tanned leather precisely because animal brains or other emulsified oils are used to tan leather from deer, moose or elk. Buckskin leather is the softest and most pliable type of leather and is used in many designer handbags. The oils used in tanning the leather creates a soft sheen to the leather, making it appear glossy and smooth. Nubuck. This is another soft type of leather that is also popular among designers. Some Prada handbags, such as the Prada Nubuck Cow Leather New Style bag, are made out of this velvety leather. Nubuck leather is made by sanding the outer part of a cow's or a lamb's skin, producing suede like finish that is powdery soft to the touch. Nubuck is a close cousin of Suede but it is tougher and more durable, making it a popular choice for furniture, shoes and bags. Suede. Suede is also a type of sanded leather but it is the inside of the cow's skin that is sanded, creating a fuzzier and more velvety texture than Nubuck. Suede is harder to clean than most leathers because of its texture. Since stains are more difficult to get rid off on Suede designer handbags, suede bags should be cleaned professionally. Despite this, though, it is still a top choice for the younger crowd and is used in many Prada handbags such as the Prada Suede Logo Box bag. Shagreen. Shagreen was a priced type of leather in the 17th and 18th centuries. Originally made from shark skin, it is now commonly created from stingrays. It is a type of untanned and grainy or rough leather. Shagreen has been used in art deco furniture but has evolved into the leather that is now also used for handbags, purses and even wallets. Vachetta. Vachetta leather is an untreated type of leather that was made popular by Louis Vitton when the designer incorporated this type of leather as elegant trimming in his luggage. Since Vachetta is untreated, this type of leather is susceptible to damage by sunlight or water. Nappa. Nappa leather is made from unsplit sheepskin, deerskin or kidskin and is extremely soft and supple. Because of its texture, it has become the Rolls Royce of leather. A lot of designers prefer Nappa leather over others because of its pliability and buttery soft texture. Designer bags made with Nappa leather tend to be much more expensive than bags made from other types of leather. Prada handbags, Chanel bags, YSL purses and other designer handbags use different types of quality leather to create their products. These various types of leather have various qualities that make them distinct from the way they are treated to the way they are tanned. Keep this in mind when scouting for a new handbag it will make you appreciate designer bags more..

This impact can cause muscle strain on many body parts, which may lead to back pain. There are many other causes of back pain, but one of the contributing factors is wearing improper footwear that does not provide sufficient shock absorption. According to Dr. Stephen M. Pribut, a podiatrist who specializes in sports medicine, foot structural imbalances can lead to ankle sprains, leg and back pain. He also states that it is important for runners who experience these kinds of muscle pains to look for shoes with a fair amount of shock absorption. As each individual is different, check with your physician for proper diagnosis and treatment. Some of the best running shoes that offer outstanding shock absorption are Asics Gel Nimbus 11, Adidas Response Cushion 18 and Saucony Triumph 7. This model features first rate cushioning just like its name suggests. This shoe is built for runners who need enhanced cushioning, such as those who are more prone to injuries. Although plush, it is also durable, which makes it a good match for those who need ultimate cushioning and durability. Its softly padded forefoot maintains efficiency while its outsole retains its lightweight grip. Saucony Triumph 7 is known for its remarkable cushioning. Its footing is thick and heavy yet soft. It is also breathable and comfortable with its removable comfort ride sockliner. The Triumph is equipped with technologies, like Full Length ProGrid and Respon Tek to absorb impact and dissipate shock, helping to protect the runner from the harsh impact of pounding that can cause many injuries. More features, like the Impact Interface and its blown rubber material, provide even more cushioning and support. New Release Air Jordan 10 Retro Stealth,Air Jordan 13 Reflective Silver First stop Victoria Secret I picked myself up a fancy little phone case! And then all the lip products were on 2 Get 2 Free who would say no to that?! So I obviously got myself some lippies. I got the Shine Gloss in two colours, and which are just the perfect pink and nude colours. Then I picked up two of the Shine glosses because a girl needs a backup! I love anything that smells of mint gives my lip a bit of a tingle ; ) plus I get it free, BOOM! So go check that offer out if you needing any new lip products! Next stop Dermalogica Recently I have been a skincare hoarder just going to the drugstore and picking up new face washes, scrubs, masks etc etc. but I don have a set routine so I wanted a new routine that was going to be made easy. Colette was the lady I saw and she sat me down and went through the face mapping with me and turns out I have normal skin! I was quite surprised at this as I been told I got Oily/Combination before, so it was really interesting to have her explain all that to me and learn about different skin types. So whilst knowing my skin type she got together a few products to go through a daily routine with me. We tried all the products out I really loved how they felt on my skin. The first product I got was a which is an oil based product so you massage into dry skin and it dissolves through any residue and even waterproof makeup and then once you add water it turns into a milky formula to just wash away. It penetrates a lot more than your average cleanser and I loved how clean it left my skin. Then I got the Cleansing Gel which is soap free and so refreshing!! You foam it up over your face and it has Calming Balm Mint (you know I love mint !) and Lavender extracts which soothe the skin and it just foams away any excess toxins and debris leaving your skin super clean. So love these two together! Also if you spend over 60 (which I did) you get a chance to go back for a 20 minute facial with them so definitely can wait to get mine booked as I am luuurving these products so far! Last but certainly not least MAC Ahhh my favoritist place in the world!!!! I think I was maybe on a Haul as I picked up two Lip Liners. Funny story. So watching Nicole Guerriero video inspired by Kylie Jenner, I wanted to pick up the colour she used on her lip as I think she got the colour smack down to a T. I asked the guy, Dan, who was helping me for the colour Beurre, oh and his face, they had sold out because everyone had heard the Kylie Jenner famous lip colour was that! Then my face so I picked my little sad ass up and asked for a nude Lip Liner as this was another reason I had gone and I chose the colour Bare which is the PERRRRFECT nude and with that I got another D Lipstick as this is my fav before but that would also go really well with the Lip Liner. So he rummaging through the lip drawer and what does he find BEURRE!!! Ah heavens opened so I obviously grabbed the last one MU HA HA HAAAA ! To be honest he tried Beurre on me and it was a little too dark for me so he just hit a nude lipstick in the middle which created an Ombre effect and that again sold it to me. Then I picked up something I have been wanting to try for a while. Mac Pigments. Please someone tell me what your favourite colour/s are as I couldn chose! It was between Rose a beautiful rose gold colour, or Vanilla which won! Vanilla is just a beautiful pearlscent white colour which can be used as an eyeshadow or what I will mainly be using it as, a highlighter. I also been told that if you mix it in with a dry oil/moisturiser then it creates a beautiful shimmer on your skin so will be definitely trying this. And that concludes my nice little shopping trip! If you want to chat about any of the products mentioned or if you been on a haul yourself recently please leave me a comment. Air Jordan 10 Retro Stealth Olympic track and field trials in Eugene, Ore., he will kiss two fingers and raise them toward the sky to his older brother, Antwan, who died a violent death in 1999. And then Merritt will get into the starting blocks and try to accomplish what he says God blessed him to be: the fastest quarter miler on the planet. "I've been given a gift and I know it and appreciate it every day," said the 25 year old Merritt, who has spent the past several months preparing for the trials, which begin today, by training under noted speed coach Loren Seagrave at the IMG Academies in Bradenton. "I know firsthand it can be taken away from you, just like that." Merritt, whose event begins Friday, had his gift put in limbo for nearly two years when he received a ban from track for ingesting steroid derivatives found in an over the counter male enhancement pill. But far more devastating was the loss of his older brother, who, during his freshman year of college, leaped from the window of his eighth floor dorm room and died from the injuries. The incident came following an altercation with three other students, all of whom were acquitted of manslaughter charges. LaShawn was 13 when he lost Antwan, whom he said was his "hero." "He never got to see me run track," Merritt said. "Now, everything I do in track is for him." Merritt admits taking the male enhancement product was a dumb mistake. He wasn't expecting it to help him run faster, since he was a world class athlete the 2008 Olympic and 2009 world champion at 400 meters. The lapse in judgment was not only a huge embarrassment to Merritt, it tarnished his once spotless reputation. "I just couldn't believe it (the positive test) was for that," Merritt said. "I was like, 'Really? For this? Really?' '' Fortunately for Merritt, he didn't receive the maximum penalty for first time offenders. With the help of the testimony of the 7 Eleven clerk who sold him the product near his home in Portsmoth, Va., doping officials were convinced he didn't take the supplement to gain an athletic advantage. He was given a 21 month ban, a duration that allowed him to compete in last year's World Championships in South Korea. Last October, Merritt got another victory off the track when the Court of Arbitration for Sport overturned a rule that prevented athletes who received doping bans of six months or longer from competing in the next Olympics, even if they had served their suspension. As a result, he was cleared to compete in this week's trials for a shot at London. "It was a great, great feeling," Merritt said. "I'm a competitor. I love being on the track and competing. And when you can't do that for almost two years, you really appreciate what that means." Merritt said his 21 months away from competition meant a complete loss of income. As soon as his ban went into effect, his shoe sponsor, Nike, cut him from its payroll. For the next two years, he said he lived frugally off the money he had saved. And during that time, Merritt said he had to use all of it while living with his parents. Although he continued to train, Merritt said his life was in a holding pattern. When the ban ended, he decided he needed a change. After a chance meeting with Seagrave at an airport, Merritt moved to Bradenton, where he could train every day in good weather at IMG's world class facility. Seagrave, who also coaches two time Olympic 400 meter hurdles champion Angelo Taylor, believes Merritt has plenty of "untapped potential," enough to give him a shot at Michael Johnson's 400 world record of 43.18 seconds. And as a more mature athlete than he was before the ban, Seagrave said Merritt will get there if he can get his 200 meter time in the low 19 second range. "He's certainly anxious to come back and prove this (steroid ban) was something he didn't do intentionally," Seagrave said. "The key will be to get through these (Olympic) trials, where competition in the 400 is just brutal. OLYMPIC TRACK FIELD TRIALS When: Today July 1 Where: Hayward Field, Eugene, Ore.
